Dental Suite ("we", "us") provides practice management software to dental clinics in India. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
Patient records belong to the clinic and are processed on the clinic's behalf. We act as a processor of clinic-held patient data and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (India).
What we process
Clinics enter patient data — name, contact details, date of birth, health and treatment records — to run their practice. We store and process this data only on the clinic's instruction, for legitimate purposes such as scheduling, records, billing, and with consent, reminders and recall.
Consent
Where required, consent is captured at the point of collection — for example, when a patient books an appointment or opts into marketing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Every consent decision is logged with a timestamp and retained for audit.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may request access to, correction of, and erasure of your personal data, as well as its portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact the clinic you visited or us using the details below. Clinics have built-in tools to export, correct, and anonymize patient records in line with DPDP Section 17(1).
Security & retention
Access is role-restricted, data is encrypted in transit, and records are retained only as long as required for the purpose they were collected or as mandated by law. For any privacy questions, contact us at hello@dental-suite.in.
